Q. Is the festival open to the general public?

A. Yes!

Q. How much do tickets cost?

A. Ticket information, including advanced ticket sales are available directly on Boardman’s Art Theatre website: www.boardmansarttheatre.com.

Q. I’m a UIUC/Parkland student and my instructor gave me a free pass so that I could see a film for class.  How do I get a ticket?

A. Student passes may be redeemed at the Boardman’s Box Office ONLY (no on-line sales).  They may be redeemed any time before showtime, although due to high attendance, we recommend that you come at least 30 minutes in advance.  Student passes do not guarantee admission for any given show.

Q. Are the movies subtitled?

A: Yes. All films are presented in their original version with English subtitles…EXCEPT for the Children’s Double Feature of The Red Balloon and White Mane, which has an English language voice-over.

Q. Are all the movies in French?

A. Not quite.  Besides the children’s double feature, which has English language voice-over, Daratt has dialogue in Arabic as well as French.  There is also a little sprinkling of Spanish in Blame it on Fidel!
